Excursions to vineyards

Koskivinos S.L. can offer you three excursiones at the moment.

Bodegas Toro Albala / DO Montilla Moriles / Alquilar de la Frontera (Cordoba)
The bodega Albala produces some of the very best aperitif and dessert wines in Spain. Apart from wines, the family estate has the largest library with wine as its theme in Europe, and an archaeological museum, whose exhibits include a wine 2000 years old.

Vinos Conrad / DO Sierras de Malaga (Ronda)
This bodega has been rated as one of the best and the most interesting modern wine producers. The bodega´s four red wines are produced entirely biodynamically, without herbicides, pesticides or additives.

Bodegas Bentomiz ja Bodegas Almijara / DO Sierras de Malaga (The mountain range of Axarquia, close to the villages of Sayalonga and Competa)
Two of the Axarquia mountain region´s most prominent producers, both of an extremely high standard, but whit different lines of production and philisophies. The wines of both producers are examples of the fresh and clean "mountain wines" of eastern Malaga. The Spanish wine magazine rates Bentomiz´s dry moscatel wine as the best moscatel in Spain, while Almijara produces the very best Spanish dessert wine, Molino real.

At a bodega, we are first guided by professionals through the production process, the go on to taste some of the bodega´s wines; afterwards, we enjoy a substantial lunch at a restaurant.

Koskivinos will see to the arrangements for the excursion, including an English-speaking guide for the whole day. As a rule, the tour takes 7-9 hours, depending on destination.
